Recognition Mass

The Annual Recognition Mass is usually held in March or early April of each year at a local church. We ask that all groups working on a program make every effort to attend this Mass. The Mass recognizes the accomplishments of the youth during the past program year in both the patch and medal programs. It is the only place where the Woman of Courage, Marian , and The Spirit Alive medals, as well as the Adult leadership awards, are presented.

Those planning to attend the Mass need to have their final paperwork in to the Committee about one month before the date of the mass. Those not able to complete their program by the time of the mass, but receiving their medals before the end of June are still invited and encouraged to attend to be recognized and can then receive their medals at their parish when completed. If your Parish has a Scout Sunday, please feel free to request certificates for that mass and come to the Recognition Mass for the medals.
